[Smiljan Radic]

This house comes from a collection of common objects, assembled in the mind of the architect according to an intuitive process. Each object has its own meaning, which enters into conflict with others, producing an ambiguous work, of which a unified vision escapes. In this case, the project is based on a wooden structure and a red curtain: the first is inspired by the balloon frame yards of the island, the second by the family-run Chilean circus.

The tent is a successive addition of ten years compared to the construction, this reflects a dynamic idea of architecture, which is not limited to the moment of design but becomes as a temporal process.
