[Right Angle Studio]
Situated within Singapore’s core central district, HS Residence is intricately tailored to the lifestyles of a young family. Conceptualized by Alex Liu and Jay Liu from Right Angle Studio, this apartment’s plan is opened across its longest axis, allowing the breadth of the space to be appreciated in full.
An opulent mix of surfaces and materials collide within, ranging from navona travertine to grigio stardust marble, utilised across built components and loose furnishings. The organic characteristics of these pieces are intentionally curated to soften the orderly lines observed within the space. A tunnelled perception, achieved through the wooden portals anchored on both ends, draws the attention to a calming plant feature positioned at its deepest end.
Reflecting an understated and composed living environment, the project’s ambition is to introduce a seamless interior vocabulary for guests and users to indulge within.
