Bureaux Fondation du Sport | Paris, France | 2023

The Fondation du Sport Français settled its new offices on two ground floors of the Rimini Tower, a 31-storey high-rise residential building built in 1975 by architect Jean Sebag on the Masséna site in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. To fit out the new offices, it was necessary to transform the high-rise building’s many constraints into project sources.

The creation of a bespoke yellow metal staircase and the planting of the external easement as the main access allowed, among other things, the integration of the evacuation easement via the offices. The technical elements distributing the offices were deliberately left visible, becoming an integral part of the project to maximize the most of volumes and light. The materials, colors and historical posters chosen recall the spirit and banner of the upcoming Olympic Games. Text description by the architects.
