This family wanted to extend their existing house to provide each of their three children with a bedroom in the existing structure, while creating a separate master suite in the new addition.
The extension was built using wood, respecting the architecture and volume of the existing house. In contrast, thanks to its clean lines and simple materials, the extension echoes the profile of the existing house, integrating seamlessly without clashing with it.
The living spaces were redesigned around a central circulation area that connects the existing and new sections. Text description by the architects.
